About the Journal

Journal Overview

The Aggie Journal of Foreign Affairs (AJFA) is an initiative of the Aggies in Foreign Affairs (AIFA) student organization. AJFA is the first undergraduate-run student journal at Texas A&M University specializing in the study of international relations. The AIFA Editorial Committee accepts submissions throughout the fall semester, revises manuscripts during the spring semester, and publishes the latest AJFA edition by April of each year. AJFA submissions are edited through a peer review process, for which Editorial Committee members are trained and certified. For any inquiries, please reach out to aggiesinforeignaffairs@gmail.com.

Submission Guidelines

AJFA accepts submissions from students from all A&M campuses, degree programs, and classifications. Students may submit up to 5 op-eds, policy briefs, current events analyses, or academic papers. Each manuscript must be between 5-10 pages in length and cited in the APA format. Students must attach an abstract and bibliography alongside their submission, and should not include any identifying information in this document.
